The goal of GLEMDI is to create an enabling environment where young leaders in Nigerian can engage in healthy debates, develop critical leadership skills, and be inspired to serve their communities with integrity.

The objectives are:

1. Prepare young leaders for selfless, accountable and people centric leadership
2. Foster networking and collaboration among young leaders to promote rights and positive change.
3. Build partnerships with stakeholders to strengthen youth ecosystem
4. Inspire a generation of leaders dedicated to inclusive progress.
5. Follow up with trends, government programs and encourage citizens to key in.
6. Create room for leadership and mentorship trainings
7. Organize programs that will raise consciousness among citizens.
